Marissa Jaret Winokur was eliminated Tuesday (5/13/2008) from “Dancing With the Stars”, after  Judges’ scores and viewer votes were tallied.

“I’ve never felt sexier in my life. Just going through this ride, I feel like I can pretty much do anything,” said Winokur, adding that she “wanted to prove to people that you don’t have to be a size zero to dance.”

Marissa Jaret Winokur (born February 2, 1973), won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, Drama Desk Award, Theatre World Award  for her performance in Hairspray in 2003.

She is set to star in a new comedy pilot for CBS titled Fugly from the creator of My Name Is Earl.

“Dancing With the Stars” results for this evening

Four Couples, two dances each, and the results are….

Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska: 1st dance 28/30, 2nd dance 27/30 for a total of - 55 points

Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani: 1st dance 26/30, 2nd dance 26/30 for a total of - 52 points

Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke: 1st dance 27/30, 2nd dance 26/30 for a total of -52 points

Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas: 1st dance 29/30, 2nd dance 28/30 for a total of - 57 points

With Olympic champion Yamaguchi and partner Mark Ballas back at the top, I think they’re going to be pretty tough to beat.

Anyone care to comment?
